Just Bloomed was chosen to design the flowers for the Minnesota Children's Museum's Grand Family Ball this year. The theme of the event was Wizard of Oz and what fun we had designing flowers around the seven different theme rooms guests dined in.

This first room revolved around Glinda The Good Witch. We adorned GLINDA'S PALACE with lots of hanging crystals and fluffy pink peonies!

The EMERALD CITY ROOM had hundreds of cylinders, green sparkly twigs and floating candles.

For the HAUNTED FOREST ROOM we went with curly willow branches and deep red flower balls. The only thing missing from this room was the flying monkeys!

Traditional sunflowers and gingham linens for the KANSAS ROOM.

The POPPY ROOM had lots of fun different red blooms and poppy pods.

The RUBY RED SLIPPER Rooftop was filled with sparkly red linens and different textured blooms.
The YELLOW BRICK ROAD ROOM had simple yellow blooms in low vases. The hand painted mural in this room was a showstopper!

The theme for this event came about from the interactive Wizard of Oz exhibit the museum continues to have on display. You still have time to check it out at the Minnesota Children's Museum but you have to hurry!! Follow the yellow brick road on over there before September 12th when the exhibit concludes.
