Legos, legos everywhere! My boys are obsessed with them. So naturally, these etsy invitations inspired me to go with a blue & green lego theme for my kids birthday party this year. Their birthday's are just one day apart. We'll see how long we'll be able to get away with these joint parties!

Red Ribbon Studio and Just Bloomed have been swooning over stop motion videos since we saw the first Kindle commercial. So much so, we decided to make one of our own! Super huge thanks to Maribeth from Red Ribbon Studio for producing and photographing this fun! Check it out here.

Ten years ago today, my husband proposed to me here at the beautiful historic Nottoway plantation home in Whitehouse, Louisiana. That morning he said, "pack a bag, lets go". The day ended with a proposal and a YES!
This man is my rock! He's an amazing partner, father of our two boys, makes me laugh daily and lovingly supports this business and floral passion of mine which includes me having hands that look like a dudes, a basement overflowing with vases (it doesn't all fit at the studio), and being gone most Saturdays. I'm so glad he hasn't thrown the towel in on me yet.
These photos were taken by Sewell Photography a few weeks ago when we were in Napa, CA. Thanks Jennie for capturing the love. And thanks wine country for the wine...it's definately easier being on this end of the camera after a little alcohol.

My sister and I somehow managed to pull off a surprise 60th birthday party for my parents this weekend. To be able to keep something like this from them (in particular my mom) was no small feat! Special thanks to their 100+ friends and family who came out to ring in their 60th year with them.
Fabulous dessert table courtsey of Cocoa & Fig!
Beautiful yellow linens from Apres
A fun photo of the band pulling them up onto stage...
Thanks Sewell Photography for these images! And for co-hosting this event with me!! You are the best Jen!

Ever since discovering this peel & stick product that I used for my recent tradeshow booth (I was their first customer to try it on a carpeted floor), I've been obsessed with where else I could use one of their murals. I'm thinking this removable mural (you can reuse them hundreds of times and they still stick) could have been so cute behind a valentines day dinner table for two tonight!

What a beautiful year it's been! I feel so truly blessed to have had such lovely clients and amazing weddings in 2010. Looking back, here are some of my personal and professional highlights of the year:

It was no surprise when my boys (who's birthday's are ONE day apart - yes apparently it's possible...and if it hadn't been a leap year in 2008 they would have had the same birthday) told me they wanted a Chuggington Birthday party. They've been infatuated with this new Disney show lately which conveniently has little to offer in the birthday party category. Using the bright colors from the show as inspiration and some printable labels we decided to make our own birthday party supplies!
Of course we had flowers on the tables!
I could write ten paragraphs about this cake! This is the second "real" cake my mom has made in her entire life. The first was for our boy's birthday last year. We were blown away then and even more blown away by the Chuggington cake she made this year. No design recipe, no directions, she just whipped this little thing up free hand.
She must have been on Cake Boss or Ace of Cakes in a former life!
Can I eat this????
A few of my favorites Jennie took of the BIG red balloon!!!
How fun are these t-shirts from Chasing Fireflies!
Special thanks to the boys aunt Jennie (owner of Sewell Photography) for these fun photos.
